Blueberry Preserves

One of my favorite snacks has been fresh bread, Mascarpone Cheese and homemade jam since I was a teenager. I love the combination of sour and sweet with fresh, crunchy bread.

Let’s get cooking this easy recipe. It can be served as desert, snack or breakfast item.  

Servings: 3-4

Preparation Time: 10 minutes

Cooking time: 30 minutes

Total time: 40-45 minutes

Ingredients:

2 pints fresh blueberries

1 tablespoon of honey

1/3 cups of tablespoon white sugar

2 tablespoons of freshly squeezed orange juice

Directions:

1-Add blueberries, honey, sugar and orange juice in a sauce pan.

2-Cook it 10 minutes at medium high then reduce the heat to low and cook 20 more minutes.

3-Let it cool down and serve with cheese of your choice such as Mascarpone, Feta, Cream and rustic bread.
