Sautéed Sweet Peaches

It is peach season. Georgia is famous with its peaches. There are over 70 Peachtree Streets in Atlanta.

I developed this easy desert/breakfast recipe for busy people like us.

Ingredients:

2 ripe peaches

2 tablespoon of freshly squeezed orange juice

1 cup whipped cream

1 tablespoon white sugar

1 tablespoon honey

1 teaspoon cinnamon

2 slices freshly baked bread

Directions

Whipped Cream:

1-Place the ½ tablespoon honey into the mixing bowl and add the whipping cream.

2-Whisk just until the cream reaches stiff peaks.

3-Store leftover portion in an airtight container for up to 12 hours.

Sautéed Peaches:

1-Place ½ tablespoon honey, sugar, orange juice and cinnamon in a medium skillet over medium-high.

2-Add peaches and sauté until golden, stirring frequently 2 to 3 minutes.

3-Spread whipped cream and place sautéed peaches on a freshly baked rustic bread slices.
