I love cinnamon and dark chocolate cookies. So let’s combine them to create something so tasty!
Makes 12 cookies
Preparation time:15 minutes
Cooking time: 15 minutes
Total Time: 30 minutes
Ingredients:
1 cup of all-purpose flour
1/2 cup of melted butter
1/2 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 egg
2 tablespoons of milk
1 teaspoon of baking soda
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2/3 cup of white sugar
1 tablespoon dark brown sugar
Directions:
1-Preheat oven to 350 Fahrenheit Degrees.
2-Mix baking soda, flour, cinnamon and salt in a large mixing bowl.
3-Mix melted butter, egg, dark brown and white sugar in a large mixing bowl until combined.
4-Add egg mixture into flour mixture and mix just until the batter is smooth and comes together.
5-Line a cookie sheets with a silicone baking mat or parchment paper.
6-Place 1 ice-cream scoop of cookie dough 2 inches apart onto the cookie sheet.
Note: You can keep them in the fridge or freeze them up to a day. Or you can bake them immediately.
I personally keep them in the fridge for an hour before I bake them since they keep their shape better.
7-Bake it 12- 15 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean from a cookie.
8-Place the cookies on a cooling rack and let it cool.
9-Meanwhile add chocolate chips and milk in a microwave safe bowl and heat it 20-30 seconds. Mix it with a rubber spatula until chocolate is melted.
10-Drizle the chocolate on the cookies and serve with milk, coffee, tea or just itself.
Enjoy!
