It is Apple season and here is a super delicious Apple Cocktail recipe for you! I used Powell and Mahoney’s Simple Syrup for this recipe. Powell & Mahoney Simple Syrup is a staple in many classic cocktails, and a must have for any home bar!

Total Time: 20 minutes
Ingredients:
3 ounces of your favorite Rum
1/3 cup of Powell and Mahoney’s Simple Syrup
2 medium size apples chopped + 2 apple wedges to garnish
2 cinnamon sticks
1 ½ cups of water
1/8 teaspoon of salt
1 cup of Ice
Directions:
1-Combine chopped apples, Powell and Mahoney’s Simple Syrup, 1 cinnamon stick, salt, and water in a small saucepan over high heat. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
2-Strain apples and place the apple simple syrup container into a bowl filled with ice in order to cool the mixture down.
3-Fill a glass with ice cubes.
2-Combine the apple simple syrup and rum in a cocktail mixer.
3-Shake vigorously and strain into the glass.
4-Garnish with apple wedges and cinnamon stick.
