Grilled Pineapple and Blood Oranges

Have you ever tried grilling fruit? I did and I do not regret it. Grilled fruit is so much juicer and sweeter. Especially with the secret ingredients!

Ingredients:

1 pineapple

2 tablespoon dark brown sugar

2 teaspoon cinnamon

2 blood oranges

10 mint leaves

Directions:

1-I used a gas grill for this recipe.

2-Cut the pineapple ½ inch thick shape of a half moon.

3-Cut the blood oranges to halves.

4-Place the pineapple slices and blood orange pieces in a large Ziploc bag.

5-Add the brown sugar and cinnamon into the bag.

6-the bag, and shake gently to coat evenly.

7-Preheat an outdoor or indoor grill for high heat and lightly oil grate.

8-Grill the pineapple slices and orange pieces for 2 to 3 minutes per side or until grill marks appear.

9-Squeeze the blood orange pieces on pineapple slices to have more flavor.

10-Serve with the mint leaves.
